Do you want to know how fast you can type? Lots of freeware are available now in web to do this but if you use Google Chrome as a web browser then you need not those freeware. Because Google Chrome itself can do this. Recently Google Chrome introduce ‘Typing Speed Monitor’ extension that can track your typing speed detail and also show you which key you use most.

The very first thing is that you need Google Chrome as web browser in this time. Open your Google Chrome browser and click on the link click here to install ‘Typing Speed Monitor’ extension. A new page will open and click on the ‘Install’ button.
OK, I hope you have successfully installed the ‘Typing Speed Monitor’ extension. Now active your keyboard for sometimes and click on the ‘keyboard’ sign at the top corner of your Google Chrome browser (see the red marked image below). This extension calculates your fastness of typing while you are actively type. Active type means continuous typing for 5 seconds without any kind of interruption.
